Roger Shindell is CEO of Carosh Compliance Solutions. Roger is the past Chair of HIMSS Privacy and Security Committee’s Risk Assessment Work Group and served as a Council Member on AHIMA’s Privacy and Security Practice Council. Roger has more than 40 years of multidisciplinary experience and has served as an advisor and principal in healthcare, technology, and service companies.

Stephanie came to Carosh Compliance Solutions with 10 years of experience working in County Government along with years of Accounting/Tax experience and Entrepreneurial experience, buying her first business when she was 21 years old.

Stephanie is Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance, has an Accounting Degree, and is a Certified Professional from the Society of Human Resource Management and is currently working towards further HIPAA certifications.

Stephanie’s unique background in business and county government gives her a passion for helping businesses comply with regulations as a way to boost their business while protecting it from non-compliance issues.

Pamela brings over 20 years of consulting experience.  She has aided start-ups to Fortune 1000 companies improving operational efficiency and achieving impactful organizational growth.  Pamela worked with companies like Kellogg, Deloitte (DTTS) Division, and McDonald’s, where she assisted with the digital transformation of their Global Divisions.  Pamela has also helped companies such as Blue Cross Blue Shield and HealthiPASS scale by building a talent framework and streamlining operations.

Robert comes to us with over 30 years of senior software development along with engineer and project management experience. Primarily with GE Health where Robert along with being the lead system designer, directed and prioritized the workload of all engineers and managing related projects.  Robert is responsible for all development (both coding and managing engineers) of Carosh’s software platform HIPAA Suite®.

Dean is a Subject Matter Expert in healthcare and financial services industries and a thought leader in the latest advances in security and risk, network design, application software and business continuity with knowledge, experience and expertise in multiple business disciplines. Dean has coordinated teams to effectively analyze, streamline and transform projects and companies into well-run, technologically-adaptable organizations to achieve growth.

JIM VALAVANIS

Jim is an Information Technology expert with over 30 years of experience in network design, network security, Windows, MacOS, Unix, and Linux operating systems administration.

Jim began working as a network and systems administrator in the early 90’s at the Chicago Board Options Exchange where he gained hands-on knowledge of cutting edge technologies. Jim continued to excel in the industry, and was promoted to manage a large technical staff at an options trading company where he oversaw systems and security. Jim has gained extensive experience in utilizing open-source solutions to control costs and provide a wide array of solutions for customers stressing the importance of security and high-availability. As part of a team for a notable project, Jim worked on designing and implementing high-availability and redundancy solutions across a carrier grade network.

Jim graduated from Iowa State University in 1993 with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering. Jim also holds a certification in Linux Administration, Dell Hardware, and Cisco SMB specialist.
